“Around the World” was the theme tune from the 1956 movie Around the World in 80 Days It never actually featured with the lyrics in the Around the World in Eighty Days film, but it is the vocal version which has by far become the better known. It was written by Harold Adamson and Victor Young, for whom it was a #13 hit on the Billboard charts (posthumously) in 1957.

April Love” is a popular song with music by Sammy Fain and lyrics by Paul Francis Webster. It was written as the theme song for a 1957 film of the same name starring Pat Boone and Shirley Jones and directed by Henry Levin.
Helped by the release of the film, “April Love” became a number-one hit in the United States for Pat Boone in December 1957. In 1958, it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Music, Original Song.

Apache
“Apache” is an instrumental written by Jerry Lordan. It has been recorded by many people, but the first released version was recorded by British group The Shadows in June 1960 and released the following month. The song topped the UK Singles Chart for five weeks. In March 2005, Q magazine placed “Apache” at #96 in its list of the 100 Greatest Guitar Tracks.

“Angel” was the soundtrack from Follow That Dream in 1962 starring Elvis Presley made by Mirisch Productions. The movie was based on the 1959 novel Pioneer, Go Home! by Richard P. Powell. Producer Walter Mirisch liked the song Follow that Dream and retitled the picture. The movie reached #5 on the Variety weekly Box Office Survey, staying on the chart for three weeks, and finishing at #33 on the year end list of the top-grossing movies of 1962.
